It was a profound honor to attend an evening at the Embassy residence of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, representing our Veterans community alongside Robert’s father John, former Army Ranger Wing, and his brother Ricky of the Irish Air Corps. The gathering brought together families, colleagues, and supporters to witness the presentation of a posthumous Medal of Honor in recognition of Robert’s sacrifice. It was a solemn and meaningful moment shared with other families who continue to carry the weight of loss with dignity.

Robert Deegan was a highly skilled and dedicated soldier who previously served with the Army Ranger Wing and the Engineers Unit of the Defence Forces Training Centre. He was also a valued member of our team at securitysafety.eu in Ireland, where he was respected for his professionalism, discipline, and commitment to others. His presence left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to work alongside him.
